Dr Sara Nesteruk (FRSA)
Biography

I am a Senior Lecturer in Creative Digital Design at SODA, the School of Digital Arts at Manchester Metropolitan University.

My expertise includes graphic design, digital humanities and animation with a particular interest in digital histories from Ukraine.

I directed The Accident (Channel 4, 2007); Recipes for Baking Bread (2021); Why We (Sometimes) Wish Those We Love Might Die (School of Life, 2017) and Holodomor100 (in development).

Awards for my work include Artists’ International Development Award, Arts Council England 2017 and Best Experimental Short Film, Intershort Festival (2022).
